Was born into eternal life on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the age of 76. Loving sister to Diane Henschke. Aunt to Lisa and Christopher (Shana). Great-aunt to Lily, Liam and Lydia. Further survived by very special friends, Becky D., Kathy R., Kay J., and Kathy G. Also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Preceded in death by her brother Daniel “Danny”; her parents Harry and Lydia and brother-in-law Al Henschke.
A private funeral service will be held for Donna. Inurnment to take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Milwaukee.
Donna was a lifelong, true blue and VERY loyal fan of Elvis. She had every record and album that he recorded, countless memorabilia, jewelry, watches, wallets, purses and T-shirts. She and her sister traveled to Graceland twice and she, sister and Mom saw him in concert twice, in Milwaukee. And, if you dared to say anything negative to her about Elvis, you were definitely, “cruisin’ for a brusin'”!!
Even before kindergarten, Donna and I were best friends. Together we shared happy memories at St . Paul’s parochial school and Bay View High School. About age nine we fell in lifelong love with Elvis. Throughout all our years (childhood, adult, and senior) I’d knock on her side door and call for “OH DONNA!” Now God has knocked and called for her to come home. Donna will be eternally remembered. ❤️
