Yes, parting is sweet sorrow. Sorrowful at the loss of companionship but sweet knowing the separation is only temporary and in the meantime, Don is safe with God!

Donna Jean-your father sounds like a wonderful man who took great joys in the pleasures of the earth. How wonderful the memories you must have of fishing alongside him….bluegill after bluegill. What a special gift your father gave you! He taught you about fishing and enjoying that quiet moments on a lake, taking in all that nature has to offer. May you find strength and happiness with each bluegill you catch, your father would be proud!!! May he rest in peace.

Donna and Family,
I am praying for your family during this difficult time. Your father is at peace with the Lord. I believe that God needed an expert hunter, to help him land the big ones in heaven. Whenever God closes a door he opens a window. Let the suns warmth penetrate your heart with warm memories of your father and husband. God Bless Donna Jean….Love Valerie
