Donald E. Lange

Passed away peacefully on April 21st, 2025, at the age of 94. Beloved uncle of Lynne (Keith) Pollnow, Valerie Meyer, and Holly Buechner. Brother of the late Lucille Buechner and Gerald Lange. Further survived by sister-in-law Janet Lange as well as many great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donald was known for his humility and strong faith. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Oak Creek for many years. He proudly served his country in the Korean war as a United States Army infantryman. He received multiple accolades during his time in the service. Donald also volunteered for several organizations in Franklin and the surrounding area including participating in the VFW Honor Guard in holiday parades. He worked for many years at the Franklin Senior Dining Center serving food. He was happy spending most of his days on his rural property.

Visitation will take place on May 8th, 2025, from 10-11am at ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN CHURCH (10302 S. 27th St, Oak Creek, 53154). Funeral service to follow at 11am. Burial will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Honor Flight ( Donate | Stars and Stripes Honor Flight ) or the Church are greatly appreciated.
