Saturday, July 30, 2011, age 78 years. Beloved husband of Rosemary A. Zellmernee Ladwig. Dear father of Suzanne Walter Simonz, Sharon Zellmer and Sandra Sean Fallon. Loving grandpa of Rebecca Stephen Tobin, Kelly Todd Burchell, Kristen, Jennifer and Patrick Fallon. Brother of the late Lois the late Severin Szortyka. Uncle of Dale Terre Szortyka and Debra Dale Jurkiewicz. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation Tuesday Today , Aug 2, from 4-7PM at Hales Corners Lutheran Church, 12300 W. Janesville Rd., followed by the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.
Don was blessed and privileged to serve as a partner with Ernst and Young, was a past president of Tuckaway Country Club, The Greater Milwaukee Open and a past member of Bluemound Country Club. He also served on the board of directors of Aurora Health Care and St. Luke’s Medical Center, and was a past chairman of Fortress Bancshares, and active in the New Glarus farming community. He was a faithful member of Hales Corners Lutheran Church and Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Chandler, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hales Corners Lutheran School or St. Luke’s Philanthropy Fund appreciated.
