Dennis S.
Murack

Dennis Murack peacefully passed away Sunday, December 13 at the age of 77 from complications related to a stroke he suffered in May. He will be reunited with his beloved wife of 53 years, Patricia, who passed in 2018. He is survived by his loving children Kevin (Mary) Murack and Jenna Murack. Proud and doting grandpa of Marin and Izzy Murack. Beloved brother of Donna Murack and Michael (Barbara) Murack. Dear friend and brother-in-law of Ruth (the late William, Sr.) Penzey, Lamar (the late Ann) Burns, and the late James (the late Helen) Petscher. Also survived by an incredible bunch of nieces and nephews.

After serving in the Army Reserves, Dennis became a certified machinist. It was only a back injury that shifted him into his supervisory role at the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District where he worked for decades. Dennis loved to fish and was an avid car collector, being a member of the Muskego Corvette Club and the Badger State Early Ford V-8 Club. Dennis loved to laugh, and even more, loved to make others laugh. If you get a chance, watch A Christmas Story this holiday. It was his absolute favorite. It just won’t be Christmas without his lovingly-prepared Bloody Marys and decadent glazed ham.

Private services with immediate family will be held Tuesday, December 22. If so desired, memorials can be made to St. Anne’s Salvatorian Campus. They took good care of him.

More than just a brother-in-law. He was a loving and caring friend. He will be sadly missed. Who’s going to help me figure out the world now.
