Dennis H. Brooks

Completed his journey home on Monday, November 28, 2022 at age 72. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda of 51 years. Loving father of Jennifer (the late Conrad) Simpson, Brian Brooks, and Cynthia Pickard. Cherished grandfather of Austin, Jared, Morgan, and Caleb Brooks, Tara and Jacob Pardue, Emilie, William, Matthew, and Kaitlynn Pickard. Brother of Kathy (John Radtke) Brooks, Nancy (DuWayne) Schaenzer, Barbara (late Keith) Struthers, John (the late Mary) Brooks, David (Sarah) Brooks, the late Ray (Judy) Brooks, the late Alvin (late Shirley) Brooks, and the late Howard (late Gertrude) Brooks. Dennis is further survived by his sister-in-law Sandra Anderson, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Dennis retired in 2008 from Rexnord Industries where he worked as a shipper/packer.

He was an active member of St. John’s Evan. Lutheran Church in West Milwaukee and served on church council for over 15 years and served as council President for 8 years.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

    Going to miss my friend, Dennis at The Landmark as we would wait for our meals to come from Kerry’s Kitchen and as we enjoyed the entertainment of watching the shenanigans of others.

    Dennis was such a faithful servant to St Johns. He was a wonderful family man and will be missed by many. My brother John remembered Dennis and Linda from their courting days at WeMiHi. my heart goes out to Dennis’ famiiy.
