October 21, 2024, age 70 years. Wife of James Blong. Mother of Jeffrey (Tori) Marx, Michael (Abby) Marx, Jessica (Dave) Downing, and Emily (Max) Blong Machavariani. Grandmother of Ethan, Goldie, Theo, Archie, Lucy, Zuzu, and Finn. Sister of Linda (Larry Martin) Rice and Nancy (David) Gruber. Aunt of Andrew (Meridith), Alison, Steven (Jacyln), and Lauren (Stephen). Great-Aunt of Patrick, Charlie, Ellie, Gabi, Taylor, Jace, and Logan. Preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Robert Rice.
Private family graveside services were held at Spring Hill Cemetery.

Debra and Linda were my very first friends in my life when we were all growing up in Bayside. Debbie was one of the finest and nicest people I have ever known. The Rice family was always very kind to me.
