A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 4-6PM at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (9200 S 27th St. Oak Creek) with a Memorial Service at 6PM. Military Honors to follow.
David “Rusty” Stachurski
Age 75. Entered into Heaven peacefully on August 30, 2022. Devoted husband of Caroll (nee Blake). Loving father of Keith (Barb) Stachurski, Rachelle (James) Novotny, and Julie (Justin) Lemieux-Petrovic. Proud grandfather of Zack, Jessie (Jairus), Kaitlyn (Kendall), Bree, Sophia, Jacob, and Jace. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many, many friends who will all remember his humor and generosity. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Leona (nee Colliver) Stachurski, brother Oscar Lieber, and sisters Beverly (Gene) Davis and Marlene (Al) Serkowski. Rusty worked for 30 years in trucking. He had a passion for fishing, cooking, dogs, making his family and friends laugh, and reading the Bible, which he read cover to cover five times.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Homes, 9200 S. 27th St., Oak Creek, WI 53154, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Funeral service to follow.
My Father-in-Law was a man of strength as well as humor and grace.
When he did push-ups, he wasn’t pushing himself up….he was pushing the earth down.
He taught me what a Father-in-Law should be, and I hope I live up to it.
