Lindner

Passed away on October 31, 2025 at the age of 78 years.  Loving husband of Patsy for 57 years.  Dear father of Joe(Tammy), Kevin(Laurie), Kyle.  Proud grandfather of Alex, Sami, Maddie, Sean, Derek, Megan.  Brother of Carol Wenzel.  Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Muriel and his father and mother-in-law,  Rudolph and Gladys Werner.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 13th from 10-11:45AM at Heritage Funeral Homes, 9200 S. 27th St.  A Funeral Service will at 12(Noon).

David dedicated much of his life to serving his community. He was a proud firefighter with the Franklin Fire Department for many years and later continued his commitment to public service as a member of the Franklin Police and Fire Commission. Deeply involved in civic and charitable work, David was an active member of the Franklin Lions Club, where he devoted countless hours to the Lions Eye Bank, helping to improve the lives of others through the gift of sight. He also gave his time and talents to the St. Martin’s Labor Day Fair Commission, contributing to one of the community’s most cherished traditions. David will be remembered for his selflessness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to helping others.

    I remember Dave taking my brother and I in a car ride, red light flashing when he was a volunteer firefighter. As a kid it was so cool.
    Dave was a joy to be around.
    Nancy and I send our prayers and thoughts to Patsy and the boys along with the Lindner family.
