A visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 10:00am – 12:00pm followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm at ST. MARY CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY 9520 W. Forest Home Ave. Hales Corners, WI 53130. Burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

 

David J. Gust

Passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Jean (Nee Thoms). Loving father of Melissa (Nicholas) Mautner. Amazing “Papa” of Brayden and Emma. Dear Brother of Sharon, Dennis (Beth Ann), the late Debbie (brother-in- law of Ken). Also survived by 7 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

David was a huge Packer fan and Nascar fan who loved fishing and also enjoyed going to various fish fry locations all over the area. He will be missed by all that knew him.

    Jean, When we both worked at Legion you’d tell me stories about how much your husband absolutely LOVED the Packers. My sincere condolences to you, Melissa and your entire family

    We had some good times going down to the crick and slipping on the wet rocks and getting all wet !!! sending the cat down the clothes shoot and hearing it scream !!! You will be greatly missed !!! Love Sissey !🙏
