Born to eternal life on Sat. June 28, 2014 age 74yrs.
Beloved husband of Mary (nee Ludka) for 51 years. Dearest daddy of Eric Gaurkee and Jennifer  (Russell) Willms. Loving grandfather of Morgan, Luke and Erin Willms and Jamie Michael and Casey Marie Gaurkee. Brother of Allen (Barb) Gaurkee and the late Eunice (the late Jerry) Olsen. Brother-in-law of Christine (the late Richard) Watts, Margaret (the late Mel) Fularczyk, the late Dan (Elaine) Ludka, David (Sue) Ludka, Grace Ludka, the late Patty (Bob) Stanislawski and Tom (Barb) Ludka. Preceded in death by his parents Albert and Olive Gaurkee. Further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A visitation will take place on Wed July 2, 2014 at the FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL  from 4 pm until the time of service at 7pm . Entombment Mt Olivet Cemetery.
Dave was a lifetime member of St. Martini Ev. Lutheran Church and a retired employee of Blackhawk Leather LLC where he worked for over 42 years.  Dave’s favorite things in life were his family, bowling, fishing, the Packers and sheepshead.
If so desired memorials to St Martini Ev. Lutheran Church, the Lutheran High School Association of Greater Milwaukee or to the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin greatly appreciated.
