I learned today of Dan’s passing, he was one of the most selfless individuals I ever had the honor of knowing. I will always remember the fun times enjoyed around his fire, sharing stories of friends and family, great hunting and fishing stories and Dan just being a great host whenever we got together. Although we lost touch, you will be missed Dan.

Darren

Dan was one of my best friends. Him and i had a relationship that i cant replace. We hunted together, walked the woods together, shared life’s good and not so good together.. I can’t put into words how much I will miss my friend. I left the funeral and sat at the bridge by his house where him and I spent countless hours chasing deer. A deer crossed the river while I was there and I couldn’t help but to think he was still with me. Dan was one of the most “real” people I have ever met. I can never replace the relationship him and I had, and I will never forget him or the things he taught me. I will miss my friend and I will never forget him. I don’t have a lot of people in my life that were as good of a friend as him, and I will never forget the times we spent together
