Christopher M. Robinson
Went home to the Lord on March 2nd, 2026. Proud father of Christopher Jr., Curtis, Giovanni, Isaiah, and Josiah. Amazing son of David Grayson and Ms. Robinson. Loving brother of Tyesha and Tyrese. Proud uncle of Resha, Aaliyah, Travis Jr., Willy, Anastasia, Tyquan, Tyesha, Antonia, and Vontrell James, Miracle, and Nyla Robinson, Davant Payton Jr, Lashon, Tyrese Jr., and Javon Robinson. Great Uncle to D’emon Coleman Jr.. Aunties Wanda, Lisa, Theresa, and uncle Willis. Joined in Heaven by his Grandma Betty Robinson, aunty Antonia and uncle Terry. Further survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Chris brought light and laughter to every room from the very beginning. A proud Chicagoan with a vibrant spirit, Chris was pursuing a degree in Business Management at MATC and would have graduated this May – a goal he worked toward with determination and pride.
From a young age, Chris channeled his endless energy into gymnastics as a member of the Jessie White Tumblers, where he shined as both an athlete and performer. His love for movement, competition, and teamwork reflected who he was at heart – spirited, disciplined, and always ready to lift others up.
Never one to sit still, Chris poured his creativity into many passions. He had a knack for home renovations and took pride in being self-employed, finding purpose in building and improving spaces. And though it started with a few misadventures on his brother Tyrese’s hair, Chris became the family’s favorite barber – always ready with his clippers, a laugh, and a story.
Those who knew Chris will remember his humor, generosity, and heart. There was never a dull moment in his presence – always laughing, always joking, and yes, forever the flirt. But beneath the charm was a soul full of compassion. He fed the homeless with food from his own fridge, never hesitating to share what he had. If someone needed a helping hand – or the shirt off his back – he gave it without question.
Chris’ life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and purpose. He taught everyone around him what it means to live joyfully and give selflessly. His beautiful heart touched many – family, friends, and strangers alike – and his memory will live on in every smile he inspired.
May his spirit live on in our hearts, reminding us to laugh a little louder, love a little bigger, and give without hesitation.
Christopher’s family would also like to mention that through the selfless gift of organ donation Chris was able to save 5 lives.
