Charles John Brogli

“Chuck”

Charles John Brogli, 63, of West Bend, WI, passed away peacefully
with his loving family surrounding him on March 9, 2024.

Charles was born on July 16, 1960. Chuck attended Menomonee Falls East High before attending Waukesha Technical College for Diesel Mechanics. His love of cars and working with tools led him to a career as a mechanic for Lakeside Bus, Wondra, Interstate Sawing, Wiedmeyer Express and A&J Mobility.

Chuck loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and grilling.
He was a wonderful cook. He also loved the Packers & NASCAR.

Chuck leaves behind his beloved parents James and Jane (nee Konzal) Brogli; his devoted wife of over 40 years, Carrie (nee Marek) – whom he married on June 11, 1983; and his loving children Mary (Miles Conwell) and Andrew Brogli. Chuck adored his grandchildren and bragged about them wherever he went. He was the loving “Grammpa” to Finnegan, Cora, Lochlain, Cullen & Declan Conwell and “Papa” to Isla Brogli. He is further survived by his brother Michael (Barb) Brogli, mother-in-law Sandra Marek, sisters-in-law Jackie Ness and Linda (Don) Marek, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by his younger brother Thomas Brogli and father-in-law Bernard Marek.

When we lose someone we love,
we must learn not to live without them,
but to live with the love they left behind.

I am so very sorry. Chuck was my first friend when we moved to the falls, in 1969. He remained a life long buddy. My heart is breaking for his family.
