Born at the end of the Great Depression, Cecil lived a full life. He was kind, social, and a progressive thinker and advocate who never passed up an opportunity for a healthy debate. Always a tinkerer, later in life he embraced his creative side by inventing a grill, refurbishing homes, and reupholstering antique furniture. Cecil was a good friend of my father, Joe Szabo. I remember when I was a kid (in the 70’s) Cecil helped my dad sod our yard. My father always spoke highly of Cecil and counted him a close friend.
