Schneider (nee Nelsen), Carol J.

Passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the age of 92. She is survived by her husband of 71 years Gene. Loving mother of Jeffrey (Mary) Schneider of Pensacola, FL, Timothy Schneider of New Berlin, WI, Steve (Gail) Schneider of Cordova, TN, and Mary (David) Naber of Muskego. Grandmother of Jared, Brent, Colin, Kari, Laura, Ryan, Eric, Allison, Haley, and Kyle. She is further survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

Carol taught one year at Racine Lutheran High School, taught Kindergarten at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Racine, and spent 24 years at Little Learners in West Allis.

Carol loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed parties with friends and social events. She also enjoyed working for the Greendale Garden Club and spent many years with the Hales Corners Lutheran Church Altar Guild.

The family would like to thank Tudor Oaks, Froedtert Hospital, and friends at Steepleview Senior Living for their excellent care and support these past years.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at HALES CORNERS LUTHERAN CHURCH (12300 W. Janesville Rd) from 4 until 5:45pm with service to follow at 6pm. Interment West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

If so desired, memorials to Hales Corners Lutheran Church or Martin Luther High School are appreciated.

    I’m sorry to hear about Carol’s passing. She was my Sisters in-law and took great care and was very nice to her when she was ill, before my Sister died. I’ll always be grateful to Carol for that. My condolences to the Schneider Family for losing a nice Woman, Mother, and Friend.

    Sorry for your loss, Gene. You and my Dad ,Dennis Gosseck worked together at Yunker Chevrolet and Cosgrove Chevrolet in the 50’s and 60’s.
