Crazy as a jay bird! Was on enough anti psychotic meds to take down a horse! His public persona was an exhausting ordeal for him. May he finally rest in peace. Bill Burt

Carlo was a kind and loyal high school friend who went on to live his life as one of service and giving. A true friend who was thought of often through the years, now in the arms of God. My deepest condolences to the Notaro family. Alan Schumann

My high school friend who showed his kind spirit even as a youngster. My thoughts are with you. Cary Sternick

Dear family of Fr. Carlo,

I will always remember Fr. Carlo as a very special person who walked this earth. His love for the Lord shined brightly as he ministered to his brothers and sisters in Christ. Fr. Carlo’s mild mannered personality and light-hearted responses in conversation were so uplifting! He was known for his deep spirituality, and yet everyone felt comfortable in his presence. Fr. Carlo was a real down-to-earth friend.

I have a book called Bread for the Journey which Fr. Carlo gave me as a gift when I worked in Pastoral Care at St. Camillus Ministries. I will continue to cherish his beautiful writings and ponder his scholarly words of wisdom.

May God bless us all as we grieve the loss of this dear one.

Love in Christ,
Pat Pom
