Carl S.
Hart

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 11:00am – 1:00pm followed by a service at 1:00pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME 16880 W. National Ave. New Berlin, WI 53151.

Carl S. Hart, a devoted family man, proud Korean War veteran, and a gentle soul who spent his life serving others, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, at the age of 95.

Born on December 26, 1930, Carl grew up learning the values of hard work, humility, and kindness. As a young man, he answered the call to serve his country during the Korean War, a formative time that deepened his strength and commitment to duty.

To know Carl was to know true gentleness. He was a man of immeasurable impact—always there for everyone, no matter the time or the need. Whether offering a patient, listening ear, a helping hand, or a steady shoulder to lean on, he was the unwavering anchor for his family, neighbors, and friends. When he wasn’t looking after those he loved, he could often be found at the Dart ball board. He was a fantastic Dart ball player, cherished by his teammates for both his skill and his sportsmanship.

Carl was reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Corrine “Corky” Hart, his grandson, Erik Hart, his brothers, Walter Hart and Daniel Hart and his parents, Edmund and Mary Hart.

His legacy of love, kindness, and quiet devotion lives on through his daughter, Carla Brott and son-in-law, Michael. He was the proud grandfather of Armando Hart and his wife Lydia, and Stephan Hart and his partner Beyonce; and step-grandfather to Samantha Brott, Rae Lynn Barwin and Erica Borkhuis. His joy was multiplied through his eight great -grandchildren: Rylee, Owen, Dakota, Audrey, Caiden, Addison, Jackson and Inigo. He is also survived by Frank Lopez and Gary Bebeau, two men whom he loved and considered his sons. He will also be deeply missed by many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A visitation and celebration of Carl’s long, beautiful life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home (16880 W. National Ave., New Berlin, WI 53151). A funeral service with military honors will follow.

Carl was truly such a wonderful neighbor and an even better person. He was always looking out for me and my kids, and I will forever be grateful for the kindness, care, and sense of safety he gave our family just by being there. Neighbors like Carl are truly a blessing, and his presence will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to his family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest peacefully, Carl. A wonderful uncle and Man. He was kind, gentle, caring and hilarious when he would make fun of my Dad (Wally). My 3 sons, my Grandma would always say, they are now together with her and grandpa for all of eternity. His time spent on earth was one filled with care, common good and empathy and compassion towards others. Like my brother Jim said, we need more men like Uncle Carl, in this world. He will be missed.
    Love you Unc

Carl gave so much of himself through his kindness, his smile, and his gentle spirit. His presence brought a sense of security and comfort that touched our lives, much like that of a grandpa. Our hearts are broken. We were privileged to know him and are grateful for the time we had with him, as well as for the sacrifices he made for our country when he served in the Korean War. He is deeply missed and will be forever remembered.

Carl, rest in eternal peace. ❤️
