Beverly, Betty, and I spent many a Saturday morning going to rummage sales and second hand stores. Beverly took pictures when my son Elliott was born, even though I never got to see them because we forgot to change the settings on the camera:) She was like a grandma to my kids and part of our family. She came to Iowa with me many times and played cards with my Dad, also a Beverly, and would always play to lose because he was such a poor loser. I’ll carry Beverly with me always. My thoughts will be with the family Sunday–she was so proud of all her children and grandchildren.

Beverly, You were a joy to me and a mom to me and a great friend to me. Your laugh was contagious and warmed my heart. Your words of wisdom guided me. I will keep you forever in my heart. Peace be with you. Love Always, Kathy Peterson-Cook

Mom, I take comfort knowing “those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear” – I will miss our Thursday adventures. Love, Patti
