I have not seen her since the 1960’s. I was very young and her son Curt was a friend at the time, but the family moved away.

She was a wonderful woman at that time. It is odd how some one has an impact on you for almost no obvious reason.

She was good. Our loss.

Curtis and Marilyn:

My family will keep you both and your family in our prayers.

Betty’s grace, elegance and genuine interest in people always went deeper than words. She lived fully and would have wanted us all to go on living every minute to its fullest in her honor. We see Betty and Bill together, their genes intertwined in so many whose lives they generated. In that very real way, part of Betty continues to enrich us all.

I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to know Betty, through my friends Maryilyn and Curt. She was always a graceous, interesting and friendly person to visit with and I am very happy to have had the opportunity to know her. I am sending my sincere sympathy and prayers to everyone in her family at this very sad time.
