Life is but a temporary place, a pause in what’s meant to be,
a resting place along the road, to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys, different paths along the way,
we all are meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay.
Our destination is a place far greater than we know.
For some, the journey’s quicker, for some, the journey’s slow.
And when the journey finally ends, we’ll claim a great reward,
and find an everlasting peace, together with the Lord.

Betty, as we mourn your passing, we also celebrate the long and wonderful life you have lived. You are the cornerstone of a great family, of which you loved each and every member equally, and with all of your heart. Let us all continue to live our lives in the precious and compassionate manner in which you did. We will miss you dearly, but we take comfort in knowing that God has a beautiful new angel in Heaven, and that your spirit will continue to live on in those whose lives you’ve touched. We love you Nana.
