Bernier, Sally J.

Born to Eternal Life and reunited with her late husband Richard, January 17th, 2021 at the age of 94.  Proceeded in death by her parents Salvatore “Sam” and Carmella D’Amico and her sister Marian (Jack) Berger.

Beloved mother of James (Nancy), Claude (Carol), Michael (Cheryl) and Daniel (Susan).  Proud grandma of Richard, Julie (Sam), Andrea, Nathan (Megan), Brian, Keith (Jennifer), Andrew (Grace), Mary Kate and Natalie (Nemanja) and great-grandma of Alex and Atlas.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Friday, January 22 from 10-12pm at ST JOHN THE EVANGELIST (8500 West Cold Spring Road, Greenfield) with Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 12pm.  Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Sally’s greatest passion in life was her family.  She enjoyed a whirlwind of activity including cooking and hosting big gatherings for her loved ones.  Free time was spent volunteering, bowling, doing crosswords (well into her 90’s!) and reading the paper.  Sally was a graduate of Milwaukee South Division, class of 1944.

Family wishes to extend a special thank you to Heritage Senior Community and St Croix Hospice for their care and compassion.

    I was Manager of Volunteer Services at West Allis Memorial Hospital when Sally volunteered there. She was a very caring person who I could always depend on in doing her volunteer assignments. I send my sympathy to all her family. Sincerely, Carol Richards
