Nee Rehorst Joined her loving husband Robert F. Mergener in Eternal Rest on Tuesday May 25, 2010 at age 92. Dearest mother of Mary Catherine Newman and Robert J. Mary Ann Mergener. Beloved grandmother of Sharon and Steven Mergener. Sister of Thomas and James Carol Rehorst, Sister-in-law of Mary Jane Rehorst. Preceded in death by sisters Mildred Rehorst and Ruth Stanley Polczynski, brothers Dr. Daniel Marcella and Gerald Rehorst, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Lucille Rehorst, Helen and Jack Hartnett, Lydia and James Barron, Adelle and Otto Wollinka, Mary and Robert Surges, Henry and Jean Mergener, George and Evelyn Mergener. Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation Saturday from 1-2 PM at ST. RITA’S CHURCH, S. 60th and W. Lincoln Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 PM.
Retiree of Nordberg. Bernice and Bob owned the Lincoln Arcade Bowling Alley in Milwaukee from 1954 to 1963.
A special thank you to the wonderful people at Elizabeth Residence for the loving care.
Bernice’s smiling face and warm personality will be greatly missed.
She was a wonderful Mom and Grandma.
