I worked with Arlene for many years and that is where I learned of her dedication for hard work, an eye for detail and efficiency and the love for her family. She talked about Connie, her children and dogs. We worked closely together, in the same department, for about 10 years. After the department was phased out each of us took assignments in other areas of the plant. Even though our paths crossed less frequently I knew her dedication for family and work remained the same.
A few years later another trait of hers was brought forward when she was selected by her peers of the department to represent them in a Safety Committee. It was there her passion for people was displayed. Her concern for a safe workplace and the safety of others was on display.
My thoughts and prayers are with Connie and his family.

It was always a special time when Aunt Arlene and Uncle Connie would come home to the Stephen/Argyle area with their family for a visit.
Sometimes, my parents and Aunt Arlene and Uncle Connie would go out for a Saturday evening together, and since I was the oldest niece, I would be chosen to babysit their kids at her parents home in Stephen.
I will never forget how fun she was and her elegance. As a early teen girl, I admired her beauty, her dark bouffant hair with a cute upflip, and her soda of choice, Pepsi Cola.
It was always a treat for me to share a Pespi with my Aunt Arlene.
