Arden “Art” R. Pinkert Sr.

Passed away surrounded by his family on February 6^th, 2026, at the age of 83. Loving husband of Sandra (nee Derdzinski). Loving dad of Kim (Scott) Stratton, the late Arden Jr., and Matt (Michelle). Proud grandpa of Jessica (Cory) Shmauz, Jacob McAdams, Jonathan McAdams, Tyler Pinkert, and Alyssa Pinkert. Great-Grandpa of Jaxon and Ava Shmauz. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends and of course his beloved dog Zoey.

Art was born on May 8^th, 1942, to Elroy and Priscilla (nee Kimble). He dedicated most of his professional career to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. When he wasn’t working, Art thoroughly enjoyed driving around with his wife Sandy in his ’69 Oldsmobile Cutlass with the top down. He took great pride in caring for his car. Art had a keen sense for crossword puzzles and went through many books in his time. His “unique” sense of humor led to many laughs with his friends and family. He had a strong opinion and was not afraid to share it. He will be dearly missed.
