Found peace December 5, 2010 at age 88 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Mary nee Lewko and children Madeline Patrick Faillaci, Thomas Noreen Balistreri, Carol Tim Hunn, Norma Amerpohl, and Annette Mike Geiger. He loved his 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by other family and friends.
Tony was a WW II Army veteran. He retired from Schlitz Brewery after 34 years. While at Schlitz, Tony served 30 years on the Executive Board, Contract Committee and as a AFL-CIO Counsel Delegate of Brewery Workers Local 9 Union. He led prayer/healing services at the former St. Ann”s Church in West Allis. His devotion and love for family and friends will be sadly missed.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, December 19th from 10AM – 12:30PM, with Memorial Service to follow at 12:30PM. Private inurnment will be held in Spring.
Tony’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to St. Luke’s T-10 Cardiac Unit and the Zilber Family Hospice for their excellent care. Donations to Zilber Family Hospice are appreciated.
