Annarose
Kehr

Kehr, Annarose (Nee Ellis)
Passed away Wed. May 25, 2016 at the age of 88yrs. Beloved wife of the late Calvin D.F. Kehr. Loving mother of Leann (Marcus) Harwitz, Janice (John) Thorgersen, Dean (Dale) Kehr, David (Emilie) Kehr, Junann (Greg) Heinen. Dear Grandmother of Sean, Scott, Symantha Kehr and Sonja Thorgersen. Sister of John (Jean) Ellis, Barry (Margaret) Ellis also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Annarose was born and raised in Marquette, Michigan. Right after high school, she left her hometown for Milwaukee where she met Calvin and they were married in November 1950. In the years following, they raised 5 children in the Milwaukee suburbs, where she was active in PTA and Girl Scouts. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, West Milwaukee, and then Christ the Victor in New Berlin. As her children grew, she worked as a nurse’s aide and took up golf and bowling. She loved sewing and having her family all together. She showed strength in the face of adversity, a trait which she has passed on to her family and that will not be forgotten. Visitation will be held on Sat. June 4, 2016 at the Funeral Home from 11am-12pm followed by a service at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Wheaton Franciscan Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
