Andy Banach

After 40 years of living life to the fullest, Andy Banach (Uncle Dee) moved on to “what’s next”. Andy absolutely loved his family including his parents Mary (Bye Mom) and James (daaaeee), his brothers Christopher (nis) and Gregory (na), his sister-in-laws Becca (ba) and Sarah (s), nieces Audrey (dee) and Harper (hopper), nephews Bennett (B) and Del (d). Loved by his aunts and uncles, Dody & Jim Marriott, and Gary & Lori Banach, cousins Emily, Evan, and preceded in death by Geoffrey. His list of peeps is incredible, but a few special friends included Stephen Cebula, Greg Jones, Richie Galonski and Nancy Muza.

Andy graduated from Hamilton High School class of ‘05. His teachers through the years were amazing. Andy led a very active life thanks to the Milwaukee Therapeutic Rec program, Special Olympics, St Greg’s Arise program and the Goodwill Day Program. Andy had a limited verbal vocabulary, but had no trouble expressing joy, and caring for others. He held a fond spot in his heart for the Disney Princesses and the Golden Girls, in his words, “hubba hubba”. Andy loved to travel whether it was to Door County or Alaska and of course, Disney World. His smile was infectious, his willingness to love unparalleled. He had an ever present nature for silliness and sass, and his “Lovvvve Yoouuu” will never be forgotten.

Andy’s funeral will be Monday, April 28th at St. Gregory the Great Parish, visitation from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, with a celebration Catholic Funeral Mass at 6:30 pm. All are encouraged to wear their most outrageous socks, it was an Andy thing. Private interment will be done at a later date at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
