My Dear Aunt Cookie, I’m so sorry for the passing of Uncle Al. He was an awesome Uncle. He always made me laugh; he was such a witty man and quick with the come backs.

It warms my heart that you had him for 56 years, which I’m sure it feels like a short time. I know you will always cherish your memories. Your love for one another was so inspiring. My sincerest condolences to you, Allen Jr. and the entire family.

Please know I love you so much and will see you soon.

Tom sends his love and apologizes that he isn’t able to come.

Dear Helen, our hearts go out to you & your family. I met Al when I was 16 yrs. old & have been friends ever since. Lots of laughs through the yrs. & good memories. We used to rib each other about his being older than me, although it was only by a few days. We both were born in the same year in August, 1945. Haven’t seen Al for a few yrs, but when I was fortunate to run into him, it was like old times. He was a great guy, a good man & I’ll miss him. May God bless you & your family. He may be in Heaven, but his love & memories will remain with you always.

    Dear Aunt Cookie,

You have my heartfelt condolences. Although I did not know him very well, I loved Al. What a kind, joyful man. One only needs to look at that attached picture of him to see the loving, caring and special man that he was. You are both in my thoughts and prayers. I hope to see you on Friday.
