Alfred “Al” Harvey Lee of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque.

Al was born May 7, 1932, the son of Alvin and Edna Lee, in Juneau County, Wisconsin. He was a former employee of Wisconsin National Guard at Volk Field, Camp Douglas, Wis., and of Wisconsin Electric Power Company, Port Washington, Wis. He served in the Army for 2 years and was called to active duty again in 1961 when the Wis. 32nd Division was activated for the Berlin Crisis. He graduated from DeVry Technical Institute, Chicago, Ill., in 1965 and worked for Motorola in Chicago.

Al was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Platteville, Wis. He is survived by his wife, Arlene, to whom he was wed on April 25, 1959, his daughter Stephanie, and his son Kevin. Also survived by grandchildren Angeline Lee, Ariel Ebersviller, Blake Misko, Adelynn Lee, Nathan Lee and Derek Lee, six great-grandchildren, and siblings Thelma Meyer, Irene Frei and Marvin Lee. His parents and three siblings preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Center (12875 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield) on Saturday December 9, 2017, with visitation from 1-2PM and service to follow at 2PM.
