Alex “Ted” Pietrzak

Was reunited with his beloved wife Arves in Heaven on January 12, 2023 at the age of 90. Ted was born February 26, 1932 in Withee, WI to Frank and Frances (nee Mateski) Pietrzak. He received education from Sterling School through 8th grade. His father passed away January 25, 1947 leaving behind mom and seven children. He stayed home and worked on the farm. He was a truck driver for over thirty years with Hickey Cartage, Ryder, P.I.E. and Hyman Freight.

Ted was united in Marriage to Arves Radtke in Owen, WI on June 18, 1960. He enjoyed his hobby farm, gardening, and making pickles for the family.

Ted served in the Army from 1956 to 1958.

Ted was the loving father of three children; Ted Pietrzak of Monroe, WI, Patti (Jim) Galstad of Westby, WI, and Jeff (Wendy) Pietrzak of Muskego, WI. Cherished brother of Frank Pietrzak of Weston, WI and Carol Balslew of Hillside, IL. He is further survived by five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by his wife Arves, mother Frances, brother Jim Pietrzak, and sisters Hattie Neisuis, Lilliana O’Neil, Mary Denning, and Carolyn (infancy).

A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 4-7pm with a prayer service at 7pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (9200 S 27th St, Oak Creek). On Friday, January 20, 2023 there will be a visitation from 10am until the time of mass at 11am at ST. LOUIS CATHOLIC CHURCH (13207 County Rd G, Caledonia). Entombment at West Lawn Memorial Park.
