A visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm followed by a service at 7:00pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME 9200 S. 27th St. Oak Creek, WI 53154. Burial will be held Saturday at 11AM at Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery 3301 Forest Hill Ave. Oak Creek, WI 53154. (Meet at Cemetery entrance).

 

Aldeen C. Swenson, age 87, of Oak Creek, WI, passed away on April 3, 2025. Born on August 16, 1937, Aldeen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Swenson (“Red”); her parents, Arthur and Veronica Abendschein; and her sister, Lois (Richard) Puetz. She is further survived by her sons, David (Pamela) Swenson, Jay (Renee) Swenson, and her daughter, Colleen Swenson; grandsons, Jason Swenson, Jacob Stewart, and Dillon Stewart; granddaughters, Justine (William) Swenson, Ashley (Dustin) Burazin and Rae Ann Stewart; and great-grandchildren, Kyra, Emalyn, Connor, Brayden, Dahlia, Ivy, Scarlet, Ozzy, and Ziggy. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Aldeen was born to the first mayor and first lady of Oak Creek, Arthur and Veronica Abendschein. She graduated from South Milwaukee High School. Throughout her life, Aldeen enjoyed playing cards, camping at her trailer on Little Green Lake with her family and friends. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her loved ones, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation and service will be held on Friday, April 11th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, followed by burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 12th at Forest Hill Memorial Park, 3301 E. Forest Hill Ave, Oak Creek, WI 53154.

    My condolences to you and your family. aldeen was was loving lady , I enjoyed being her friend, she’s was so full of light.i will truly miss her, hearing all stories
