Edward “Eddie” W. Illian

It is with great sadness that the family of Edward “Eddie” W. Illian announces his passing after a long battle with several illnesses on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the age of 74 years. He will be forever remembered by his wife Diana L. (nee Mueller) Illian; daughters Amy Illian, Barbara (Chad) Berka and Sharon Edic (Don Sobush); grandchildren Stephanie Roskopf, Rebecca Brown, Zachary Brown and great-grandsons Noah Roskopf and Caleb Roskopf. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Edward J. and Marie Illian, sister Sandra Shoemaker and his great-grandson Elliot Edward Roskopf. Eddie will also be remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Eddie was an employee of Falk Corporation for 37 years and retired in 2002 due to his illnesses. During his lifetime, Eddie had a passion for hunting, fishing and playing pool. His biggest enjoyment in life was going up north to Land O’Lakes and Conover, Wisconsin with the whole family, and in later years owning a trailer and staying at Sunrise Shores Campground in St. Germain, Wisconsin every summer.  He also enjoyed visiting casinos with his wife, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Eddie will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOMES, 9200 S. 27th Street, Oak Creek, WI., 53154, from 1:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eddie’s name to the American Cancer Society, https://www.cancer.org/ , are deeply appreciated.

    I am heartfully sorry for the loss of Eddie. Quite a fighter, he leaves a stamp of that on everybody’s hearts. Please accept our condolences and prayers for the family.

    Dad, I will always cherish the memories we had of going up north, you driving the boat when we went water skiing or on the tube, trying to knock us off, which it worked! Especially watching the Brewers and Packers games with you. You had a rough road these past few years, it’s time for you to rest! I love you with all my ❤️. Til we see each other again. RIP
