Born to Eternal Life on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the age of 89 years.  LaVerne lived in Wisconsin most of her life.  She “retired” to Ocala, Florida in 1988 to enjoy the warmer weather with Arlen, her devoted husband of 49 years.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Arlen Clauer, her parents Erwin and Edna Scheunemann, and all her siblings:  brothers, Donald, LeRoy and Erwin Scheunemann and sister, Maryann DuPuy.  LaVerne will be deeply missed by her daughters:  Cheryl (Jack) Ollmann, Kathleen (Gerard) Palmersheim and Kim (David) Kietzman.  Loving Grandmother of Lisa (Michael) Benoit, Jonathan (Amanda) Ollmann, Hailee (Adam) Larkin and Gabriela (Gurvinder) Singh; Nicole (Charlie) Rothe, Ashley (Mitch) McGuire, Lindsey (Logan) Ketelhut; Samantha Kietzman and Garret Kietzman.  Also survived by twelve great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank The Windsor of Ocala immensely for the wonderful life they helped LaVerne live since 2011.  Every day staff shared love, care and compassion with her, which was truly appreciated day in and day out by her family.

Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 10:30 am at Heritage Funeral Home, 16880 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI 53151.  Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park, 14874 West Greenfield Avenue, New Berlin, WI  53151.  Please meet at the cemetery immediately following the service.
