David R. Hildeman passed away on Thursday, October 29th, 2020 in Milwaukee, WI. He was 83 years old. He was predeceased by his wife Sandra Hildeman (2015) and his parents Norma and Ralph Hildeman.
David was born on August 19th,1937 in Milwaukee, WI. He married his wife Sandra in 1966 and is survived by their three children, Eric Hildeman (Carrie) Jonathan Hildeman (Heather) and Heidi Hildeman. He was both a family man and an accountant in the construction industry and also taught accounting at the college level.
He was a man of unfailing generosity, dry wit and humor, stoic endurance, longsuffering patience, and an unparalleled work ethic. He loved intellectual entertainment, such as British costume dramas and the comedies of Zucker, Zucker and Abrahams. He was also a lifetime jazz fan who was often seen at O’Donoghue’s for the All-Star Superband, Fitzgerald’s in Berwyn, Illinois, and the Birch Creek Summer Jazz Camp. He was active with Jazz Unlimited of Milwaukee, and the Woody Herman Society.
In addition to his children, he is survived by his grandchildren Gabby and Jonah as well as his nieces Deborah Milton and Laura Milton.
