Tommy was the first owner I met when I started at the Knickerbocker. It will never be the same without Tommy on patrol! He always had a smile and a hug for those he would meet on his travels. He had a heart of gold, an awesome sense of humor and he truly cared about folks. If it was garbage pick up day in the neighborhood he would walk the route I take to go home and made sure all of the emptied garbage cans were pushed back, off of the sidewalk, so I could easily get by in my wheelchair on my way home after work. If the weather was bad, he would ask me to call him when I got home so he would know I was safe. Tommy was a truly special Friend, and I will miss him terribly. I was blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. The world has lost a very special person.
