Hey Pa, Remember when I was a kid, we went fishing. We walked a mile through the woods, even though I walked alone you guided me. Remember when I was 17, changing the motor on that Dodge Omni, I was almost ready to give up. But you guided me to throw the tools across the garage, and never quit. That car ran for six more years.Remember talking about what I wanted to do after High School, you said “construction-that’s what’s in your blood.” Your lips were not moving but I heard you. Pa, the best memory we had together was our first hug, wow that was almost 20 years ago already. Remember all the times we sat around telling stories, good or bad…we always smiled! Remember hunting, every year we ate venison, thanks to you it’s in my blood.
Pa, even though you couldn’t be there for me when I was young, I want you to know I felt your love. Now you left my life again, it’s okay, I will always feel your love and hugs. I love you too!
P.S. I’m proud of you Pa!
