I remember Letitia in full colour as though my summers at St Mary’s Camp/DeKoven were recent. She would dance with Dorcas, who taught us folk dances from around the world. She read to us from The Chronicles of Narnia at bedtime. Helped get us on the bus to the Hershey’s chocolate factory. Asked if I would help lead worship with my guitar (which changed my life). In later years I took my sons to Mary’s Margin to meet Letitia and the women of the community. I know my story is only one, and many won’t be recorded here. I will sing today in gratitude for Letitia’s life, and hope that those who were closest to her at her end are comforted throughout Advent. Blessings all.
