On behalf of the Howard Holmes family, I Julia Holmes,sister-in-law
of Lydia Holmes would like to extend
my condolences to the family. I will
be unable to attend the funeral because of my failing health at this time, but will keep Lydia in
my thoughts and prayers. My children
and I have fond memories of times
spent together with both Roy and Lydia over the years. There is an old prayer that I would like to share: Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on the ripened grain. I
am the gentle Autumns rain. When you
awaken in the morning hush, I am the
swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry: I am not
there I did not die, for Lydia is with us in Spirit. May you rest in peace Lydia.Julia Holmes and
children, Barbara Steuber, Karen
Schlidt, John Holmes, Jeffery Holmes and their families.
