One time, after a long day at work that included taking care of the elderly in my family, I was worn out and trying to regroup as I walked along the Oak Leaf Trail by the shores of Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee Art Museum. Trying to get past the challenges of my day on the walking path I loved I wasn’t paying attention as I walked but someone else saw me and was walking behind me. It was the always remarkable Thomas J Regan. And rather than call out to me to say hello he started singing a little song. “Her name is Joanne, I know her, she doesn’t see me but I want to say hello”. It was classic Tommy and his dry Irish wit. Finally, I realized Tommy was behind me and turned around to say hello. Tommy J Regan what a concept, what a blessing, what a gift! In a very quiet way, Tommy will be missed by all whom he knew. I would also like to thank Chris Mosely who was a neighbor and a friend to Tommy when he really needed a friend. God bless Chris Mosley and God Bless you Tommy J. Regan! Your friend and sometimes walking companion and neighbor, Joanne
