I went to High School and some college with Blase. Played football together for the Bishops. Our lockers were right next to each other. Shared a lot of laughs. Blase was such a great friend. Infectious smile and was always there for you. A really excellent running back as well. Thanks to my dad, I have a home movie of him returning a kickoff for a touchdown against Grafton HS senior year. The film gets a little rocky because Mr. Collura, Blase’s dad, was standing next to my dad and was so excited the bleachers they were standing on were shaking.
