Dear Bath family, I am so sorry to find this post so late. My own mother passed away last July and I never knew about Gen’s passing. I am a nurse at Ascension CSM Hospital for the past 35 years and Genevieve was a dear volunteer at Columbia Hospital. After the merge of Columbia and St. Mary’s Gen and I lost touch. I gave her rides home to her apartment on Oklahoma on occasion from Columbia Hospital so she would not have to take the long bus rides home, and it was on my way home as I lived in New Berlin right off 130th and Oklahoma. If I would have known about her passing I would have come to the service. I want you to know that she was a very sweet lady and I enjoyed her love and friendship. I hope your family is doing well this past year. Just as I think about how blessed I am that my own mom is with the Lord and does not have to go through the restrictions of this pandemic, I hope you have found peace that your own mom is at peace with the Lord.
