Janet C. Weasler

(nee Mandy)
Returned home to her creator early Saturday morning, December 6, 2025, when the Lord called her to eternal rest. She passed peacefully at home wrapped in the warmth of her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Kristine (John) Michalski and Alan (Penny) Krings; grandchildren, Dawn (Gus) Otto, Kimberly (Mac Davis) Krings, Alison (Tyler) Otto, Joseph (Stephanie) Krings, Angela Michalski, and Clarice (Teddy) Azar, and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by close extended family members, Anne and Michael Barnes and Therese Michalski, her friends at the St. Anne Center, other loving relatives, and friends.
Janet entered this world on June 17, 1935, at home in Milwaukee, WI. She was welcomed by her parents, Ralph and Ruth Mandy, the second of 6 siblings. When her father was called into the war, the family remained in Milwaukee living near her grandmother, Charlotte, with whom she enjoyed a very close relationship.
When her father returned, the family moved to northern Wisconsin, eventually settling in Hawkins. She graduated from nearby Ladysmith High School, then earned a business degree at Spencerian College in Milwaukee.
She worked as an accountant while raising her two children in Wauwatosa. Weekends were filled with family time; entertaining, snowmobiling, camping, boating, fishing, and gardening. She was not afraid to tackle do-it-yourself projects along the way either, like furniture reupholstery and refinishing.
After her children were in college, she started her business, Mandy Services, which specialized in resumes and outplacements. She worked diligently to help people better their careers. She enjoyed membership in the Milwaukee Athletic Club and professional organizations like Zonta International Women’s group during these years.
She adored all of her grandchildren and cherished the time spent with each of them. Always showing her love and support, making an effort to attend as many of their sporting events, recitals, school activities, and competitions as she could.
Retirement was filled with new adventures: moving to West Bend, keeping up with the family events, and traveling. Later in life, she returned to Milwaukee, settling in a home next door to her daughter. He life-long love of reading served her well as she spent many happy days in a good book, doing sudokus, and word searches.
Many evenings filled with funny stories, laughter, card games, puzzle-making, food, and good conversation were shared around her table with family and friends.
A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm with a memorial service to follow at 3:30 pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (9200 S. 27th St. Oak Creek, WI).

Janet was a friend to many of us here at St Ann’s, she loved the IG music with the children, word searches, going to jewelry class with her lady friends. And the therapy Dogs that came to visit.

Janet was always sharing stories of her life growing up and her witty self would make us laugh. With some of her comments.Janet also loved to sing and wanted everyone else to sing with her, especially Johnny Boy, don’t tell her son in law he doesn’t like that one. & how much is that Doggy in the window.Miss Janet it was our honor to have you at St-Ann’s and you will be greatly missed.
Love, sympathy and prayers to your Beautiful family. Alicia, Shayy, Deb and Mercedes
