Carried into Heaven in the loving arms of our Savior on February 11, 2017 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Cathlyn (Nee Carlson). Cherished father of Veronica (Steven) Broekema, Jennifer, Daniel, and Douglas (Brittany). Loving grandfather of Conner, Deacon, and Scarlett Vierck and Micah, Aaron, and Abby Broekema. Dear brother of Donna Bujka, Kenneth, Marylee, Julianne Stika, Naydene (David) Dargiewicz. Special brother-in-law of David (Oksana), Dan (Marie), Terry Carlson, and Robert Sobush. Further survived by many nieces, nephews,and friends including his special golfing partners Don Groth, Albert Sunn, Larry and Jack Tobiasz, Paul Schreck and many others. Preceded in death by his parents, his sister Charlene Stawicki, his twin sister Paulette Johnson, sister-in-law Stephanie and brothers-in-law Carl Stika and Joseph Bujka.

Paul proudly served in the United States Marine Corps in 1967-70 as a Russian translator, at the Milwaukee Police Department for 32 years, and at the Federal Court House. He also crooned in many venues in the Milwaukee area, including 10 years at Walker’s Maple Grove Restaurant.
Paul’s faith in God clearly shined through in the way he lived his daily life. “By grace alone, By faith alone, By scripture alone”

Service to be held at St. Jacobi Lutheran Church, 8605 W Forest Home Avenue, Greenfield, WI on Thursday, February 16 at 6:00PM, with viewing from 3-6:00. Private internment will be held at a later date.
