Charles "Chuck"
Dybro

Passed away peacefully January 21, 2019 at the age of 90.

Beloved husband of Pat for 59 years. Energetic dad of Louise (Chris) Kelly, Janet (Steve) Benner, Tom (Tracy) Dybro and Paul (Migdalia) Dybro. Fun-loving grandpa of Ashlynn, Grant (Ali), Hayley (Kyle), Alli (DJ), Holly, Rachel and Ryan and great grandpa to Archie.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday January 26th, 2019 at THE FUNERAL HOME from 2pm-4pm with a service to follow.

At a young age Chuck followed his heart and moved from Denmark to the United States. Driven by his strong work ethic, he went on to own a Shell gas station and work as a power plant engineer, completing his career as Chief Engineer at West Allis Memorial Hospital.

He enjoyed traveling to various parts of the U.S. and Canada on annual camping trips with his family.

He had an amazing memory and stayed calm and practical in all situations which helped him in work and his everyday life. He will be fondly remembered for his ability to fix just about anything with his creative problem-solving ability and all kinds of tools.

Chuck was a lifelong learner and avid reader. He loved gathering information on just about everything from science and nature to politics and current events. One of his greatest passions was farming and gardening. He was known to eat what he grew and then some, often going back for 2nds and 3rds at meals and events (especially for bakery and desserts!)

Chuck was an active resident at Stoney Creek Adult Community in Muskego, where he enjoyed gathering with good friends to share a meal, stories as well as participating in drama club plays.
